idiothair said: is this about me
No it is not
My older sister has problems getting people to do things (she’s the president of a club on campus) and she constantly has to badger her cabinet to do shit and every time she asks them for help (or rather, pull their own weight) they don’t and it’s been causing her a lot of trouble because they accuse her of forcing them to do things and that they do all the work etc rather than being mature and either helping her or decline to help in a civil manner
There’s also junk going on with some other group on campus like that and it’s been pissing me off.
If anyone thinks the rant is about them no trust me I do not talk smack where the person in question could possibly check or stumble upon it easily
it is no one on tumblr
Hey fun fact did you know when a friend asks you for help or to do a favor it is perfectly ok to decline and tell them you don’t feel like it because you’re busy or have other obligations? If they’re truly your friend, they will understand.
What is not ok is to be a whiny piss baby and blow up in their face and scream at them about how everyone and their mothers keeps asking you to do this and to do that and that you feel like everyone is using you and that the person asking you for help is somehow a terrible villain for even considering asking you for help.
This not only decreases the trust this person has in you, but it makes you seem like a stupid child. You are an asshole if you think it’s ok to blow up at someone because they wanted to ask you for help. Just say you can’t help them out at the moment because there’s a lot on your plate. Simple.
it’s fine if you don’t pay much attention to the competitive side of Pokemon with IVs, EVs, abilities, and etc, but it’s also fine if you do. What isn’t fine is thinking you’re better than and looking down on someone who plays Pokemon differently than you.
